2. Chandler and his current roommate, Alex, were both transferred to a new city and needed to find a new apartment. They carefully considered every apartment within their price range and finally, rented one that met all of their criteria. Complete A and B, below, with regard to their experience. For each of the concepts, define the term and then, apply that term/concept to the specific situation.

A Confirmation bias concept relate to their decision to buy a home.
Confirmation bias is a process of searching new things that can be in form of favor, belief and values etc. We can analyse the new thing with the base which is old thing or previous activities.
Here Chandler and his current roommate, Alex decided to change apartment because they transferred to new city. So obviously want that type of apartment which comfortable and in their budget ans they also think about their last or previous apartment which is also comfortable. So they find the new apartment with making old apartment as a base.
B Extrinsic motivation - it is a type of motivation. It can be in form of fame and also in money. A person get motivated by external factors like when Chandler and Alex find new apartment, they feel motivated because they find that apartment which fulfill their all criteria.
For example - a person got incentives because of their good work performance.
Proactive interference - It is a type of interference effect which is come from when we habitual to our old things and then buy a new thing that proactive interference which come from uses new thing like when Chandler and Alex find new apartment which is obviously different from old apartment. So the location of every thing changes.
For example - Buy new phone and you are habitual to old phone. New phone always increase excitement but which also create proactive interference.
Observational learning - it is a type of learning in which we observes the society like individual behaviour, attitude etc. When Chandler and Alex change the apartment then they find new environment , new neighbours, every thing is new there. So they observe the new people to keep old neighbours in their mind.
For ecample, a person is not go late to their office because he see that the employee who come late to office is fired. So he observe the behaviour of their boss.
