2. Chandler and his current roommate, Alex, were both transferred to a new city and needed to find a new apartment. They carefully considered every apartment within their price range and finally, rented one that met all of their criteria. Complete A and B, below, with regard to their experience. For each of the concepts, define the term and then, apply that term/concept to the specific situation.

A. Confirmation bias concept is used in decision making process of Chandler and Alex. Because in the confirmation bias concept, a person analyse the information then make a decision on the base of past situation and experiences.
Chandler and Alex find the new apartment to analyse all the things like comfort etc on the base of their previous apartment then which fulfill their all need, they choice that apartment.
B. Extrinsic motivation - It is that type of motivation which comes from reward and also in terms of fame etc. It is the motivation that comes from external factors like they find new apartment which fulfill their all criteria then they feel motivated which is extrinsic motivation.
For example - A boy who gets 80 % marks and their parents give them a new remote control car in form of reward.
Proactive interference - When a new change or a things create interference that is proactive interference. When they find a new apartment and that is obviously not same as the previous one like the place of everything or the structure of building or the shops everything is changed then that changes created the interference.
For example - A woman purchase a fridge and there is many new features is available like buttons of changing temperature, size of the fridge etc then that new features in the fridge creatd interference is proactive interference.
Observational learning :- When we learn something through the observation of the environment or the society around us. Like when Chandler and Alex go to the new city and a new place, they meet new people, they observe their attitude and behaviour according to their old neighbours.
For example :- A child do their homework on time when she see their teacher to punish the child who is not completing their homework.
