As a first responder on a scene and then 2 others arrive ( just 2 other people , not advance medical service ) how would you lead them to help when there are multiple victims : a child with no pulse , and infant who is not breathing but has a pulse , an adult with severe bleeding and an adult with no pulse. Explain what instructions you would give them in an effort to provide the best aid that you all can give to each victim.
*Remember there are 4 victims and 3 responders *
There are 3 responders and 4 victims.
Victim-1: A child with no pulse(it is a state of cardiac arrest, in this case, the child need immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation as soon as possible without delay to prevent irreversible damage of vital organs)
Victim-2: Infant with no breathing but has a pulse(it is a respiratory arrest, the victim is an infant so soon it going to convert in a cardiac arrest.Thats why the infant need an immediate pulmonary resuscitation)
Victim-3: An adult with severe bleeding (severe bleeding can lead to hypotension can cause many life-threatening conditions but it can be prevented by stopping the bleeding. In this case, the client is conscious so the bleeding can also be stopped by the client on his own effort till the advance medical help arrives)
Victim-4: An adult with no pulse (It is a case of cardiac arrest, in this case, the victim needs an immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
First, the responders should call medical help.
Then, 3 responders should attain victim-1, victim-2, and victim-4 along with they should instruct and assist victim-3 to stop his bleeding.
They should provide psychological support to victim 3 while working with the other 3 clients until the advance medical help arrives.
