Three components of anxiety are:
- Physiological: this component of anxiety consists number of
natural changes that occurs in the body while percieving some
danger as it is natural response to ensure safety. For example
increase in muscular tension when one feels need to fight in
respose to defend ones own self.
- Cognitive: this component of anxiety consists a series of
mental processes that occurs in one's mind to deal with some
particular situations for example thinking thoroughly about
something that one feels most threatening.
- Behavioral: this component of anxiety deals with those actions
that a person takes when feels depression. Behavioural component
gets activated to react to a situation in order to re-establish
optimum conditions for well being. For example if a person is
confronted to an unexpected situation which he is not prepared then
he ll most likely react by analyzing the problem and prepare most
proper solution to deal with it.
