Two examples for respect for people:

• Greeting the patients whenever doctors or any other health care providers visit them and not showing faces in spite of work related pressures or tiredness.
• To provide appropriate clothing to the patients to ensure that no parts of their body are exposed.

Two examples of continuous improvement:

• Improving the safety of especially old people who have been admitted in the hospital by providing special care and attention to them.
• Monitoring the progress of people who has been admitted in units like ICU, NICU tec. To ensure that treatment provided to them is effective and they are in the stage of recovery.

Two examples of component elimination of waste:

• Making arrangements in the hospital for recycling, re use and waste to energy conversion.
• Steps to discard infectious waste like microbiological cultures, identifiable body parts, used bandages etc. to prevent further spread of infections to others.
