Here I am going to describe three cases such as - Is open-source innovation of a good idea of technology transfer?
Are their potential drawbacks to using open source?
what should be done in order to protect intellectual property rights by using open source?
CASE 1:-no according to me the open-source innovation is not that much of a good idea for the technology transfer as the open-source platform shows the information, data and many other details openly e to everyone which can be e really uncomfortable for many people to reveal their data and information.
CASE 2:- yes there are some potential drawbacks to using such systems and that can be following:-
1) NOT SO GOOD USER FRIENDLY:- this is the major drawback of open source innovation because it is not so user-friendly people find it hard to access it and it becomes difficult for them to use it.
2) HOW TO FIND DRIVERS:- when we buy new hardware it is very difficult for the new users to get and find new drivers for their hardware to work with.
3) NOT SO GOOD SUPPORT SERVICE:-it is also noted that the support services of the open source innovation are not so good and are not providing valuable services to the.
intellectual property rights while using open source and protected by following ways such as:- registering copyrights, trademarks, and patents, avoiding joint ownership and implementing security measures and other things can also be done to protect intellectual property rights. and it is also very important to protect intellectual property rights to make sure that people feel safe and comfortable.
