Think of at least one example for each of the following topics (OR AS MANY AS YOU CAN more than 5 is ideal). The example can be from a former job, internship, class project, volunteer activity, etc. When formulating an example, think STAR - Situation, Task, Action, Results. Situation Describe a specific situation that you were in Task Describe the task that needed to be accomplished Action Describe the actions/steps that you took Results Describe the outcome and your accomplishments When you're presented with a question, listen to hear which of the following topics the interviewers are really asking about. You'll then tell the interviewer a story based on one you've already thought through below. Responsive to needs

The Situation: I am Sunita working as Associate Professor in an Engineering college. Everyday I go to college by bus. The bus driver was very friendly and affectionate to each and everyone in the bus. He used to speak with each and everybody and used to to pick up everyone from the bus stops very patiently. every student in the bus used to love that bus driver. His age was 65, the most lovable and affectionate person. one day suddenly we had bad news of his death due to a heart stroke. The day before also he spoke to me about the house where he wants us to join in that house. It was shocking news for me to hear the news of his death.
The tasks: The bus driver is a very poor man with a big family, his salary was only 7000 Rupees, the amount was not sufficient for the family. The family was dependent only on the bus drivers salary. He had two daughters whom he had to get married. His sudden Death was shocking for the family and they were all in depression, they were not able to do anything for their survival. so I thought I have to do something for the family.
Your actions: I thought I should do something for the family. In my college I am the advisor for helping hands, a small organisation we are running in our college. I took the support of the principal, faculty and students, and started collecting the funds from every student in the campus. all the students wholeheartedly started to donate the funds. every faculty also supported a lot and everybody started to donate some amount from their pockets.
Results: with everybody's support I was able to collect 64000 rupees, and representing our college we donated that total amount to that family. we may not solve all the problems but we were able to do whatever we can and help and support the family. in a problem a small water drop also accounts for an ocean.
