Explaine Aristotle’s definition of the human person?
the definition put forward by Aristotle has been long discussed. He said that the definition should be including something that is general and something that is specific. These two components had been designated as being the genus as well as the species.
According to Aristotle, human is a rational animal. This is the basic definition of humanity put forward by Aristotle.
Aristotle had also defined humans as being a political animal. He thought that the basic difference between humans and other animals is that there exists a behavior that has some form of culture within. This cultural behavior is what differentiates humans.
He also states that humans are surrounded by other living things who are aware of themselves. Further, in order to completely define and differentiate humans, Aristotle identified humans as being social mammals who have the ability to be reasoning along with speaking, and to be using tools that are complex.
