ANA(American Nurses Association) code of ethics for nurses provide ethical obligations and statement for the nursing professions. it is an ethical practice for patient safety and quality of care. It has many provisions for the nursing profession.
ICN code of ethics is an international council of nurses (ICN) that provides ethical obligations for nurses to promote health, prevent illness and improve wellness and avoid suffering. It has four principles for standards of ethical conduct, that is nurses and people, nurses and practice, nurses and profession, nurses and coworkers. It is the first international code of ethics for nurses.
Both the codes shows the nurses are ethically proven, prevent conflict and barrier with fulfilling a professional obligation. These codes support nurse and reduce moral dilemmas.
