Information security is the practice of the protection of the information and also the mitigation for the threats and risks, which is done as a part of the risk and information management for the business projects in the company. The information security in corporate culture or business is known as Corporate Information Security, which involves the prevention of reducing unauthorized/inappropriate access and also the use, detection, modification, corruption, disclosure and other things about the information and the data within the company.

Thus the Corporate Information Security covers the identification of the information and the related assets and also the threats and vulnerabilities, evaluation of the risks, also monitoring the risks and if they need mitigation strategies, treatment of the risks. Corporate Information Security protects the information, identifies and also manages and manages information security which can threaten the survival of the corporation and the information or data in it.
