In this Topic, you have learned the terms used to describe motion (e.g., distance, speed, and acceleration) as well as Newton's laws explaining motion. Describe at least two ways the material you have learned in this unit applies to driving a car (refer to the Arizona Driver License Manual located within the weekly readings). Has what you have learned in this Topic changed how you drive? If so, please explain.

Expert Solution

While driving a vehicle, when we apply the throttle the motor applies constrain which makes the vehicle move the forward way. From the Newton's Second Law of Motion while we have learnt we get:

F = ma

In this manner we come into record that when that the throttle is in charge of the increasing speed of the vehicle. The more the throttle the more will be the quickening of the vehicle.

Additionally, from kinematics condition for one dimensional movement we have:

v = u+ at (where the images have their typical implications).

We presume that last speed is legitimately corresponding to increasing speed. Hence, our speed is the result of the increasing speed of the vehicle.

Presently going to a second situation,

The separation gone by our vehicle is given by kinematics condition for one dimensional movement:

S = ut +(1/2)at2 (where the images have their standard implications).

for example the separation gone by our vehicle is straightforwardly relative to the underlying speed(u)with which it was formerly voyaging and the increasing speed connected by the motor and time(t). Which implies that throttle connected for a more drawn out timeframe will prompt more speed and furthermore the vehicle will travel more prominent distance(S).
