It is important to have women represented in consulting industry because of following reasons-
A. It has been indicated that teams which are having a greater proportion of women will be delivering better quality solutions to both the client and organisations end customers.
B. Those projects which are run by women is likely to be within the time orientation and within the budget orientation so it would be an advantage in time saving and cost savings.
C. Female project managers will be considered better at stakeholders management and they are better at relationship management than their male counterparts so they are absolutely needed in the consulting industry
D. Women's are generally considered to develop the relationship faster and they are a more effective influencer and coach so there will be affecting the the consulting process
E. Women are seen as more reflective and which will be helping the consulting team to think more literally and consider the longer perspective in order to maintain a sustainable relationship with the clients
