During the 2016 US Presidential election the election parties used the social media as a tool for getting votes and also increased the percentage of success.

Social medias like Facebook, Twitter they made a pre voting test and based on the results they reacted to the users of the social media (i.e) They gathered the comments and voters list from the social medias then they converted the information to a data which is analyzed. Then they made a statistics on the analyzed data. With the help of the statistics they organized a campaign to improve their success list.

Then they mainly advertised the policies they follow and also they published a list of things which they will do to the people and made many positive impact towards them to the social media users who ever didn't voted.

These kind of process are done with the help of some type of algorithms which sorts and arrange the database in accordance with the category that they categorized for their campaign.
