Emotional intelligence plays a significant role in the overall
performance of the organization. According to Goleman, studies of
the outsourcing performance in an organization represent that
approx two-thirds of the abilities setting the stars' performance
lies in emotional intelligence. Some companies identify Star
performance in their organization by evaluating emotional
intelligence. They have employed trained psychologists for
developing the " Competency Model" for assisting them in
identifying, training as well as promoting the start performance.
It determines the personal capabilities droving the outsourcing
performance in the company. The star performance is defined by
emotional intelligence. if there is level of emotional intelligence
in higher in the company, star performance level is grater. For
this, the organization asked the senior manager to identify the
capabilities that typified the most outstanding leaders of the
organization. The emotional intelligence components include
self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social
skill.
