How would you describe best practices when working with multiple
generations in the workplace? How comfortable are you (or will you
be) when given the opportunity to lead a multigenerational
workforce? What will make you successful and what challenges do you
anticipate?
A Thumbs Up! Would be really helpful for me. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
As a leader, if I got an opportunity to lead a multigenerational workforce in the organization then it will undoubtedly very challenging and you need to be dedicated enough towards your work in order to lead the multigenerational workforce. The multigenerational workforce will provide you experience along with advanced knowledge, talent, skills, etc in the organization which can help the organization to grow and try to compete with there competitors in the marketplace. As a leader, I would be very comfortable with multigenerational employees as you can provide guidance to them and in return, you will be able to learn some new things as well which will help you in your personal growth as well. No one will miss this opportunity as it including teaching and learning both at the same time but there are many challenges as you leader you will be facing in the workplace as there will be a communication gap between the employees of different generations which can result in chaos in the organization. Moreover, every employee has a different style of getting there task is done which can also create a problem for the leader and can result in the chaos which will go to affect the organizational objectives of the company and employees needs to understand their motive which is to help the organization to grow and shouldn't waste there time and energy over these things. This type of mindset will help the organization and there employees to grow more.
