2. one way in which age and/or gender influence health care utilization... = health care utilization affected by age and gender ....in young age predominat group the focus of health care utilization is towards the basic amenities like ensure proper vaccination arrangement,  ensure proper nutrional support, proper growth monitering of the child and even make some policies that can ensure effective watch over health care utilization project.

same in gender influence = for female gender ...must ensure proper mateernity care, vaccination and antinatal checkups when necessory is included in health care utilization services.

to "act" ill? What expectations do we have of persons with illness..... =  to "act" ill can not be defined as per the incomplete word or phrase.... but as per the question it means an otherwise healthy person try to make the impression of an ill person....

and about our expections with the ill person .... is just to ensure that they feels calm and feel secure in our presence. they feel free to share their thoughts and all the internal desire with us.
