Answer to the question:

Netflix is an online streaming service for which you have to pay monthly to buy their subscription and enjoy all the available content. Amazon also have monthly subscription service as well as rental service, though with some content which can be bought also.

However, there are contents which are better in Amazon as compared to Netflix. Though Netflix have huge content quantity, Amazon has better quality and original content with new movies more frequently being released with new instant videos. Netfliz needs to provide room for new original videos and new movies to be released in its platform. Netflix should care for the content provider also and should look for new and fresh content.

Apple is not much rival to Netflix as both are interent content distributor. Apple just distributes the internet content without taking care of its source, just like google.

Redbox is a DVD rental service having physical presence with self service kiosks at almost everywhere, from convenient stores to drug stores. Netflix is a DVD rental service through mail. Redbox has made its presence where continuous internet streaming is not available. In order to overcome this Netflix also need to make its presence at such places by forming kiosks of DVD rentals. This will allow Netflix to make its presence felt at such places where it is unable to get subscriptions due to slow internet.
