Maintaing the security of a system is very difficult today. We have to expect any type of attacks through any possible way and make sure ever loop holes are clossed and there exist no vulnerabilities in the network. As a Chief Information Security Officer, i have to consider implementing very strong security packages in the company to ensure the datas are safe.

The main things to care about are:

  • Data Loss Prevention - A backup is created

  • Intrusion Prevention System - Encrypt with best technique

  • Intrusion Detection System - Realtime network monitoring system will be implemented

  • Security Incident and Event Management - Alerts provoke when unusual things found

  • Firewall - A wall in between devices and network to protect from unusual traffic

  • Antivirus - To detect and kill malwares

These techniques together provides a good boundary for the company's information system. Along with proper human monitoring will empower the system and makes everything safe.
