Expert Solution

Develop a short strategy or plan that how you can do that by using principles of persuasion.

Following principles of persuasion can help to develop a strategy plan which can be used as described below to shape beliefs, attitudes and behaviors of people towards this situation of pandemic:

(1)RECIPROCITY: Government, health communities should praise people and their beliefs which helped them to follow the principles of social distancing in this tough time. This will make people to return a favor or repay in kind to their government for understanding them.

(2)COMMITMENT AND CONSISTENCY: Public commitments of government are especially effective. When doctors, officials make commitment for people well being and health care facilities, it gives hope and optimism to people.

(3)SOCIAL PROOF: People will learn from others through social media advertisements regarding the correct thing to do. What others are doing validates “the right thing,” and people will do those things they see other people doing. This will help people to cope physical and mental stress.

(4)LIKING:People are more easily persuaded by the requests of people they know and like. There should be some social media campaign where people who know each other are posting the well wishes, care tips to them.
