The tourism services are transportation, accomodation, food & beverages, leisure & attractions and recreation & entertainment.

a. Transporation.

It is one of the main tourism service. Transportation is the first thing that a tourist needed for making a tour. Transporation is the key factor in a tourism activity. From the begining to the end there is a need of better transportation facility to reach the destination, to travel inside the tourism spot and way back to the initial place. Example; Airlines, train, taxi services.

b. Accomodation.

It is the second service. The customer need a comfortable and secured accomodation. The tourist has to be provided with better accomodation. Examples; Hotels, cottages, lodges etc.

c. Food and beverages

It is the next factor after accomodation. The customer need good and healthy food on his travel. Mostly the food and accomodation were provided at the same place like a hotel.

Example; hotel

d. Leisure and attraction.

Leisure and attraction are also an another factor that make the tourist travel to that place. There should be attractive places for the tourist to hang out. example; mountains, lakes etc.

e. entertainment

Part B

According to Maslow, there are five categories of needs; physiological, safety, love, esteem and self-actualization.

The two extreme needs that tourist would mostly be concerned in their travel choices of accomodation and attraction are physiological needs and safety needs. Physiological needs include food, water, air, shelter. And safety needs means the safety of the tourist in that place. Tourist want assurance that the place can provide a better accomodation and food. And also the place's safety can encourage them to visit the place.

For example; We are planning a holiday. We choose munnar as the destination. Before confirming or choosing our destintion we make sure that munnar is very secure to travel at the time with good climate and there are hotels and high quality restaurants. We have to make sure that the place offers us with a good shelter and the availability of good food and beverages and among that the safety of the place like is it the correct time to trvael to munnar, how is the climatic condition etc.
