The Zookeeper's Wife was the novel and made the fiction is 2017. The Zookeeper's Wife war was the story of Polish immigrants during the world war and later directed into drama film. The novel reveals the authentic story of how Jan and Antonina Żabiński protected hundreds of Jews from the Germans by receiving them in their Warsaw zoo during World War II.

The novel depicts the story of September 1, 1939, the airborne attack of Warsaw initiates as German forces attack Poland.Bombs destroy the zoo cages and killed countless animals while others animals disappear into the roads.

Antonina and her son Ryszard hardly survived. As Polish impedance drops, the head of the Berlin Zoo and Adolf Hitler's foremost zoologist and Jan's expert rival appears at the zoo when Jan is off.

Heck later reappears with Nazi volunteers to kill the surviving animals. It becomes obvious that Heck has originated a romantic concern in Antonina.

The later novel reveals that Jan and Antonina support to hide people from the Warsaw Ghetto into the zoo. They hid them as assistants and siblings or attaching them in discarded animal homes to keep them hidden from the Nazis, who want them to shoot.

This story reveals the kind of help that Jan and Antonina extended depict the message of Humanity in the true sense where they describe nature is tolerant, people and animals are essentially decent, and the writer outlasts the killer. This is an interesting novel who declined sometimes by the irregular way Ackerman supports Antonina's description with the comprehensive story of the Warsaw Massacre who protected more than 300 Polish immigrants during World War II.
