Identify and explain both internal and external reasons why change is inevitable in any organization.
Change is an ever present thing. It is through change, that people and organizations are able to progress further. However, there are so many problems which stand in the way of successful changes which take place in an organization. For this reason there is a complete branch which handles the different barriers which occur during changes in a company. Over the years many studies have shown the different reasons and barriers an individual faces when they are facing change. Broadly they are categorized into two branches: internal reasons and external reasons. At one point in a career, employees tend to show resistance towards organizational change, due to these reasons. Employees tend to view change as a bad thing for their career. It is the managements job to look into the reasons an employee might be facing, and then to address them accordingly. Without such management, there is little hope for organization's future. The major internal and external reasons for resistances are usually the following; 1.Self-interest
2.lack of understanding
3.lack of trust in management
4.differing assessments of the need for change
5.low tolerance for change
