The p-value is 0.575.
Since the p-value (0.575) is greater than the significance level (0.05), we fail to reject the null hypothesis.
Therefore, we cannot conclude that there is a difference in the means.
(b) The Minitab output is:
The p-value is 0.020.
Since the p-value (0.020) is less than the significance level (0.05), we can reject the null hypothesis.
Therefore, we can conclude that the variability of data set A is larger.
