How a mother deal with his child during homework decides the level of hope of success and fear of failure that a child will develop.

The factors that will determine these development need to be discussed .

First factor is what standard mother set for deciding success of child during homework. If standard is too high , it will develop fwar of failure. So it must be adequate to develop hope of success. Other factors that contribute is autonomy granted to child in deciding the methods and problem solving approach .if autonomy granted it will help in generating hope for success and high need of achievement while tighter control by mother will develop fear of failure. Moreover , how a mother respond to son performances, If a mother encourages child to take decision , it will develop high need of achievement .

Moreover mother focus on failure and lacking ability rather than strength and success will develop fear of failure.

Thus the role of mother is critical role in development of achievement motive of child.
