LLP is the limited Liability Partnership and some rules are different of LLP as compare to Partnership and Companies.However,there are some relaxation for LLP as compare to Partnership firm.

But still according to me tax years are not going to be changed to December 31.Because there will be no change in Financial Year of LLP as it is From April to March 31.TIncome tax return filing dates may be extended due to some reasons but tax years can not be December 31
