Identify a method used to measure the effectiveness of Human Resources and explain the circumstances in which that method might be used and why it would be more effective than others.
A method used to measure the effectiveness of Human Resources is the Employee Satisfaction Index. This is because such a method measures the satisfaction level of each of the employees of the organization with the trainings provided to them for the job, job role and their requirements for the job. Based on their satisfaction levels, the effectiveness of human resources can be measured and evaluated. The circumstances in which this method might be used is when the employee attrition rate is higher or when it is the time for employee appraisal cycle or when employee feedback is solicited by the employer. In these scenarios, such a method is quite useful and must be used as well. This method is more effective than others since it provides complete transparency on the human resource effectiveness by directly measuring employee satisfaction level which is linked with the quality of human resources department of an organization.
