Expert Solution

I'll like to state the facts and some of the improvements to raise the performance level in the company even though you have old software and you cannot make any changes.

Stop Multitasking and Start Focusing

The biggest reason for a downfall in a company is lack of productivity so it is necessary to develop good organisation and management skills in order to perform good .

Some programs such as StayFocusd can even keep a track of a custom amount of time that you can be on certain websites of your choice.

Batch Tasks

Discussing and stating that all of us have the same number of hours in a day, but one way you can work smarter and better with yours is to group similar tasks together. However Instead of checking your emails throughout the day and  create set times to do this and you’ll find that you work through them quicker, become less reliant on your inbox and free up valuable time for other activities.

Finish a Task Before You Start Another

One of the easiest ways to lose time throughout the day is through task switching and  It’s really easy to be tempted to move from one task to another, but you lose momentum and focus this way.

Change Ineffective Ways of Working

The question is are there processes you encounter that slow you down? If so, think about how you could change them or petition for them to be reviewed by management.

The most important is process surrounding communication withing the organisation.

Oe more thing I'll recommend to my boss would be Understand Your Limits

Each Employee working under my boss would have certain limits and based on that an organisation will sort them into respective time batches and those two have software issues could also be easily managed.

There will also be a team to look after the PC and the issues going on with it.

I think I have stated all the facts that are necessary of a boss to conduct and put them into application in the day to day basis.
