Do you believe that health insurance should be tethered to employment?
Health insurance should not be tethered to employment.There are many disadvantages occurred from tethering health insurance to employment.Generally treatments and facilities related to health are expensive and even heath insurance turns out to be costly.So,when employment is tethered to health insurance,relatively more amount is deducted from stipends of wokers.If stipend of worker is low and health insurance is tethered to employment,then maximum part of stipend is paid for premium and insurance.Due to this,workers and employers receive less stipend.If health insurance is tethered to employment,workers and employment should work hard inorder to gain higher stipends.If an individual is oftenly changing his/her job,then it would be difficult to claim the insurance amount.When people get used to health insurance tethered to employment and if a person loses his/her job then they might find it difficult to afford for expensive health treatments.So,it is better not to tether health insurance to employment.Hence,these are the reasons to believe that health insurance should not be included with employment.
