What are the advantages and disadvantages of Surveying Users to define Functional Needs in EHr
A Thumbs Up! Would be really helpful for me. If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Advantages of surveying end-users to define function needs in EHR:
1. The main advantage of surveying end-user is that the data available would be more reliable and significant as compared to any other source of collecting data because the facts and information are gathered from every person personally.
2. In surveys, there will be a personal touch, and information to be gathered can be molded as per the requirements on the spot, thus carrying flexibility.
3. If we collect data from the survey, the chances of errors are less because we collect data from every person or a sample of representatives of them, thus the data would be more accurate and less error-prone.
Disadvantages of surveying end-users to define functional needs in EHR:
1. there are chances that people do not respond to the questionnaires that are sent to them via post or emails, because they don't feel like.
2. It is also possible that people do not provide the correct information or do not provide correct feedback, as a result of which, there would be errors in data collected.
3. The personal bias of the surveyor as well as the person who is giving the information can be there.
4. there is a chance that the set of questions that are prepared for the survey is not sufficient or not relevant to the objective.
