The closure of news of the world happened because of the phone-hacking scandal. In this scandal, the employees of the newspaper were accused of supporting phone hacking and found doing wrong work which influences bad things in society. The newspaper News of the World was found guilty for hacking the phones of British people and their family members of service personnel. Yes, according to me the closure of the newspaper was the right thing done at that time because they are not meant to do these things and by this act, more than 4000 people are affected by this scandal and people were having their important things in their phones which are not supposed to be seen by anyone except them. And if you hack the phones then it is a crime and they should be punished for conducting this activity. Moreover, they were looking for personal identification numbers by which they can have access to there voicemails which is something not acceptable.
