Explain the pros and cons of corporate whistle blowing with examples?

Corporate whistleblowing means an act of raising voice against any wrong or illegal practices that are going in between the organization. This act has both positive as well as negative impacts on everyone including the business and the employees. These are as follows:
Pros:
1. Fulfilling ethical or moral obligation: It satisfies the moral for the Ethical duties of the employee. Eg: By raising voice against any malpractice or any illegal activity that is going on in between the company, one is standing against what is wrong, and thus, fulfilling is moral responsibilities.
2. Rewards: Whistleblowers can also be awarded by the government or any other such institution for their brave act. Eg: If any employee raises his voice against any wrong activity that is going on in between any company, then if his claims are real, the government will reward him for his act of bravery.
3. Awareness: It would be helpful in spreading awareness among employees also. Eg: if any employee raises his voice against wrong practices, then he would be rewarded and recognized for his act of courage. he would inspire others and this would help in spreading awareness among other employees to stand against what is wrong.
Cons:
1. The threat of losing a job: There are chances that he might lose his job if he stands against any wrong practices that are happening in his organization. Eg: If he stands against any wrong activity, there are chances that the company, after the settlement of that case, would try to find some ways to fire such an employee, and maybe ruin his career too.
2. Lengthy procedures: The procedures regarding standing against any wrong corporate practice is very time consuming and lengthy, because of that the employee might regret.
3. Others: There are also negatives for whistleblowers, Eg: it can ruin his relationship with his colleagues in the office, he might be threatened or coerced, or tried to be bribed.
