I don't think so that love is choice. Love is something which we all need. It gives us emotional satisfaction. Love is happiness when it is towards a good person, they can be parents, siblings and our partner.

Love can't be choice. Because we never choice someone to love. It will happen because of something like physical attraction, behaviour, nature etc. Love is different for everyone.

We never choice our parents to love, we are attached from childhood. So we love our parents because of their love, support and sacrifices.

Love is feeling which gives us internal happiness and power. Love can make us strong as well as weak. It depends upon, our love towards which person.

Sometimes we have many good friends but we can't love them but suddenly we meet someone and we fell in love with that person, we can't him or her. It happened automatically. It our internal feeling which makes us to love someone without choice.
