The three types of focusing problems are:
- Accommodative Insufficiency: This
is most common form of focusing problem. In this problem of
perceptual process it is difficult to focus on the tasks that are
near, or in other words its an inability to focus on tasks that
requires perception of near by objects.
- Accommodative Infacility : This
problem of focus is inability to switch focus between the near and
far objects. It is the inability of the eyes to focus with the
efficient speed and accuracy.
- Accommodative Spasm: In this
problem of focus the ciliary muscles of the eye remains in a
constant state, hence, the vision becomes blurry. It mostly occurs
when attention is shifted from a prolonged near task to a far
object.
Sometimes when attention is focused
on tasks as embroidery work for longer duration and when the focus
is shifted to a far object, the vision seems to be blurry, thus,
accommodation spasms has been experienced.
