e. contingency-governed behavior (contingency-shaped behavior).
Rule- set of binding acts put by the controlling authority. Crossing of these rules would lead to punishment. Rule of house such as to come early before 8pm
Rule control. They are the guidelines of following rules. It is seen that rules are maintained. Such as. If the child cones after 8 p.m then he would get a small punishment.
Rule governed behaviour - This means that person's learns a behaviour by following rules instead of direct contact with the contingency such as coming early just because there is a rule
Contingency is seen as set of behaviour interdependent upon each other. Hence if one behaviour is controlled other is also control. Such as if a child watches less TV then he would act less voilenly.
Contingency governed behaviour - it means that person learns directly or indirectly in contact with the consequences. Such as child does not touched stove when it is hot. He stays away from it.
