Regulations play major role in health care sector , regulation occurs from state level, federal, local community bodies and regulatory authorities. These will help to set and enforce standard of care in healthcare. Help public to get quality health care services. Regulations monitor health services offer by professionals. Help in improvement of quality of education in health care system.
Financial impact of regulation will occur because, for setting up the standard care, quality equipments and skillfull professionals are needed so financial burden will occur for hospitals. Sufficient staffing also an important part in regulation. Infrastructure development also needed as per standard of regulatory authorities. Every government spends higher amount for their GDP to health care sector to maintain standards of regulatory authorities.
In our hospital organization is working as JCI accredited standard hospital. For that hospital concentrate on quality of care and patient safety, for that sophisticated instruments and facilities constructed . Hospital concentrated on preventing infection, quality staffing, made all documents paperless by making whole hospital facilities into computerized systems. Theses whole change helps in improving patient care however, financial burden was high so they seek help from government authorities and other charitable agencies to make this regulatory standards possible.
