consists of the tools, process and the methods for enabling the
organizations for meeting and aligning with the business strategy
and the business goals and also meet and align to the
infrastructure and environment requirements. Thus the Information
technology governance is used in the way such that it can support,
and also enable the companies for achieving the goals and the
objectives. Thus Information technology governance is a set of
rules and guidelines and also policies which are required to be
followed for the effective and controlled operation of the
organization.
ISO/IEC 38500:2015 is a real-world example for the IT governance
and is the international standard for this. It setups up the
principles, definition and also the framework which is necessary
for the organization and thus can b used to align the use of the IT
and a and help in organizational decision making such as legal,
ethical and also regulatory requirements.
