T/F/U. Stereotypes are a form of discrimination. If true, explain why they are and whether this form of discrimination is resultantly prevalent . If false, explain why they aren ’ t and what other types of discrimina tion overtake stereotypes
Stereotypes is a belief about certain group of people. This belief can be positive or negative. On the other hand discrimination is kind of action or activity which denies a certain group of people from its right. So streotypsteis are form of discrimination. Because whenever we creating a belief in certain group whether it be positive or negative does not matter. This belief is creating discrimination. Because this belief is distinguishing that group from others. This distinguishing is a kind of discrimination. Whenever we are thinking about superiority of one group than other or inferiority than others then we are basically discriminating one group and the inferior group always has a chance not to get their. So this is the form of discrimination exist. We preassumed about a certain group of people and this creates the discrimination.
This discrimination is still prevalent in our society. We already make an idea about a group of people and this belebe is still exist. Though we are recovering from there but somewhere it exist in our mind very strongly and that is why this kind of discrimination still exist.
