Explain what similarities and differences as entrepreneurs does Bill Gates and Blake Mycoskie has?

Similarities.

Both Mycoskie and Bill gates dropped college to pursue what they liked. Bill gates was passionate for computers since young age and left college to start exploring the options related to computers while Mycoskie dropped college to found Mycoskie media that use to market music . Later , he tried hands at many business Includen cable channel , casting shows , but later settled at shoe business and social entrepreneur which became TOMS. WHILE bill gates left Harvard in 1975 to work as software developer on BASIC platform.

Both were workoholic and worked hard even after getting success . Bill gates continued 15 hours work a day for more than 35 years when Mycoskie is still working hard.

Both have worked for the social cause. The giving pledge by gates and buffet and social entrepreneur platform by Mycoskie are aimed at providing platform for entrepreneurs to contribute towards social cause.

Differences.

Gates was fascinated by passion to computer and he excelled in field of computers from very beginning while Mycoskie tried hands at several business before settling to their shoe business.

Moreover , social cause was motive behind the begining of TOMS SHOE for tomorrow after Mycoskie visited Argentina and watched barefoot people and their struggles. His business was for profit but from the first sale itself he donated one pair of shoes for every pair sold. While gates became philanthropist only around 2010 , after 35 years of job .

Moreover , gates was considered very notorious for not being reachable by phone and for not returning phone calls to employees and management while mycoskieis considered very cordial and responsible in getting connected to employees and resolving issues by debate and discussion.
