2. Do you agree with Nietzsche’s claim that “every elevation of the type ‘man’ has hitherto been the work of an aristocratic society and so it will always be”? Why or why not?
I agree with Nietzsche’s claim that “every elevation of the type ‘man’ has hitherto been the work of an aristocratic society and so it will always be”. Social stratification based on race, class, caste etc. has long been practiced and people who are rich today are not the ones who worked harder than others in the earth. It is the result of what was followed for thousands of years and most of the rich people have inherited wealth from their ancestors who amassed those wealth during the period of these discrimination. Today, they use those wealth to acquire better education, better medical facilities, better connection in politics, better investment etc. All these in return make them more advantaged than people who just start from the scratch because most of them were given access to equality, education and employment very recently. This gap is going to widen as these powerful people with wealth and run the corporate companies also control the governments and the laws that they enact.
