It is an violation of human rights .If we talk about human rights , if any criminal in prison is tortured or harassed than also it is a violation of human rights ,so if we see Chiquita's case than many civilians were killed without any reason ,they were tortured and murdered it is a violation of human rights , if a criminals in prison gets human rights protection than in Chiquita civilians were killed, it is a violation of human rights.

Chiquita company wants to grab land from citizen , so they paid terrorist organization AUC to kill people ,threat them and grab their land . But before doing this company could have done any thing normal which would have not harm people and their work would have done .

My advise to Chiquita.

1. The company could have offered double or triple amount for the land to the farmers if thy wanted to acquire the land.If a person gets more money for his property he sells it happily , only in rare cases he do not sell.

2. Company could have paid for the land to farmers and also offered a job in the company ,this could benefit the company as well as the owner of the land.
