What is the role of Strategy & Performance Excellence in supporting Quality Management (QM) and Lean Management (LM). Factor in the impact of the Corona Virus on Strategy & Performance Excellence when relying heavily into one country such as China. How would you assess their "unintended consequences" to the global economy? and how would you re-calibrate your Strategy & Performance Excellence strategies based on lessons learned?
Many organizations face common challenges when it comes to achieving quality and high levels of performance. Organizations of all kinds— business, governmental, health care, and educational—create products or services to meet particular sets of consumer needs. To the extent that an organization achieves success and stability, the structures, systems, policies, work practices, and leadership styles that are associated with those accomplishments become accepted and standardized over time. A service orientation directs attention to the needs, expectations, and satisfaction levels of the groups that are served by a private-or public-sector organization. While corona virus got infected on the countries it got infected on the strategy & performance Excellence heavily. n China, where the coronavirus first appeared, industrial production, sales and investment all fell in the first two months of the year, compared with the same period in 2019. In order to stop the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, many countries across the world have started implementing very tough measures. Countries and world capital have been put under strict lockdown, bringing a total halt to major industrial production chains.
By considering the covid situation, we can confirm the best practice in the performance management is quick action, china took a little time to taken a proper action against the covid treatment measure ,they never though t that it will cause such a serious issues. We can’t revert back the consequses caused by the covid, but we can make a good literature review about the strategy which we applied for the particular incident .so that it will be useful for the similar incidents. Performance management should always be updated with the new new strategies then only the quality management is will the appropriate one. Quality management became stable through the Research and analysis process only .In the case of covid 19 also ,we have implemented the research and method development process only .
