• Assess the knowledge of the client about transplant.
• Encourage the patient to express the feelings of anxiety.
• Establish a relationship of trust will reinforce confidence in the patient.
• Providing expert care will minimize fear and anxiety in the patient.
• Patient will always worried about losing one kidney. Teach the patient that the renal function is maintained by a single kidney.
• Clarifying the doubts and make her to concern about surgery will improve speedy recovery postoperatively.
• Make her realize that she is going to give life to his son.
• Educate the patient about postoperative pain and its management.
• Instruct the patient and family members about the importance of hygienic measures postoperatively.
