• Awareness program with respect to increasing breast cancer incidence reported in the community and the importance of mammogram in diagnosing the same is the first technique that can be applied. Data obtained shall be exposed to the public through different forms such as Seminars, local magazines, medical camps etc. Data shall comprise of the breast cancer incidence reported in the last 5 years at different hospitals located in the community which is noticeably increasing every year.

• Programs which can help provide mammogram service to the older population at a comparatively lesser and affordable cost which on a standalone basis is not payable by insurance companies shall be implemented. The fact that risk of breast cancer increases with age is the point that shall be highlighted in the program.

• Local advertisements with logo “Earlier you decide the faster you heal” shall be administered through various media forms with examples of case studies belonging to people of the particular community where late diagnosis of breast cancer restricted lifespan than the actual one if detected at a very early stage through mammogram.
