I believe that Safety of care is important identifiers to determine quality care provided as it in hands of healthcare to prevent fall in hospital, prevent HAIs & pressure ulcers in bedridden or immobile patients by giving care like:
Prevent Fall: Siderails of bed up & bed height low, all articles necessary for patient within reach of patient, antiskidding mats, proper patient orientation of the room.
Prevent HAIs: Infection prevention at source, best injections practices, prope handwashing, dressing care.
Prevent pressure ulcer: 2 hrly position change, skin care, dressing hygiene if indicated, wrinkle free bed.
