The main four types of power in our society are as follows :-

(1) Monarchical :- This is a form of Power in which the transfer of power is within the Family. It transfers from one Generation to another. Japan is an example of this form of Power.

(2) Totalitarian :-This is the form of Power in which their is no space for Opposition in any matter. This is the single party system in which that party have every decisive power for taking decision.Chinese Communist Party is an example to this form

(3) Authoritarian :- This is the form of Power in which the blind fold power is in the hand of the leader and strict laws are being imposed on the public. Public has no partnership in any of the decision taken by the government. Venezuela is an example for such Government.

(4) Democratic:- This is the best form of government among all because in this form of government their is a joint collectiveness of all the general public because they have the right to elect their representatives. India,USA,Australia etc are various countries which follow this form of Power.
