which college science class is the easiest astronomy, chemistry or physics? I'm not the best in science.

Solutions

Expert Solution

According to me it depends you like mathematics or reactions

Because in physics and astronomy you must be very good at mathematics

Astronomy is also a branch of physics which deals with rigorous mathematics and imagination

In college physics there are many subjects like Quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, statistical mechanics ,nuclear and particle physics .

(Quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics are need to study Astronomy )

And if you go in details of these subjects they are very interesting . They tells us how nature works.there are many subjects common in physics and chemistry like quantum mechanics , atomic and molecular structures, nuclear reactions etc

So basically i feel physics is more interesting and vast it will cover your astronomy and much of chemistry (of course not full)

But according to job perspective a chemistry graduate have more jobs in their fields (they can easily go in industrial work )than physics ( good jobs in research and academia)

Hope it helps !

Good luck for your future and work hard in college !

I'm in a freshmen level physics class now, so I don't know much, but something I heard today intrigued me. My TA was talking about how at the research facility he worked at, they were able to accelerate some certain particle to "99.99% the speed of light". I said why not 100%, and I didn't quite understand his explanation, but he said it wasn't possible. This confused me. Since the speed of light is a finite number, why can we...
