Corruption is a process in which an advantage can either be given to someone or can be taken from someone through illegal means. These means are immoral in nature. These are also considered as inconsistent with the duties of concerned person.

It is being considered immoral because it provides advantages to someone at the cost of rights of some other person. Greed for money and position is considered as the prime factor working behind the motive of corruption.

Setting an environment of monopoly may also be another reason. Weaker laws and absence of strong regulations are the main causes behind the flourishing nature of corruption. When a person understands the values of ethics then it may prove to be helpful in reduction of corruption.

Values and ethics of a person makes him/her aware about the impact of corruption in society. He becomes able to understand the direct and indirect harms of corruption. This awareness inspires a person to move in a right direction with a right approach.

It leads to betterment of society. It also inspires people to become more educated about own's rights. Ignition of such senses leads to heavy reduction of corruption from society. People help each other without the greed of favor.

They understand the value and importance of equality which also further helps in curbing of corruption.
