A. Bureaucratic control empowers individuals with respect to their position within the organizational hierarchy. Bureaucratic control is used to ensure the effective functioning of large organizations where face-to-face communication is impossible or practical and informal methods of implementing compliance are not enough.
Bureaucratic control is a method of control management that relies heavily on rigorous documentation, reporting, monitoring, and measuring employee effectiveness. This leads to the development of organizational bureaucracy (a group of people who work at different levels of the organization to maintain order, gather information, write reports, and formulate)
B. Bureaucracy is an effective management system that can solve complex problems through rational calculations. While it is true that a bureaucratic model should be effective for a particular business operation, hierarchical structure and bureaucratic management can negatively impact employee productivity and innovation.
* Digital transformation blurs boundaries and challenges traditional production models to help companies grow rapidly.
* The growth of digital platform companies means that the effectiveness of technology is reaching more people than ever before.
* Technology is changing the skills employers demand. Workers need to complicate problem solving, teamwork and adaptation.
* Technology is changing the way people work and working conditions. Short-term labour, often found in online platforms even in developed countries, faces similar problems as unofficial workers around the world face.
