A website that is exceptionally user friendly:

Amazon website

Amazon's website is a very user-friendly site. A user can easily search for various kinds of products belong to different categories. It is very easy to search for a product, read reviews, see the latest offers, new products, etc. Anyone who has never visited the website before can start using it quite easily from the first time itself.

When a user clicks on a product on the Amazon website, the website also shows related products or products which people have bought along with the selected product. This improves the user experience.

The website also includes a search bar, making it simpler for users to search for any time. Logging in, logging out, reaching customer service details can also be done easily.

A website that is not user friendly:

Arngren Electronics website

Arngren Electronics is a company from Norway, that sells electronic products, gadgets, etc through its website.

The website is very unorganized and is not user friendly. The home page of the website is very cluttered, with different items being displayed all over the page very randomly. There is too much content on the home page which does not make it a smooth experience for users. The navigation options are not placed properly and can confuse any user. Further, the customer service details and contact numbers are posted in the bottom portion of the home page, between various items. A new user may find it extremely difficult to locate the customer service details and the contact numbers.

To improve the website, the home page should be made simpler. Items should be shown in categories, and a lesser number of items should appear on the home page. Customer service details and contact numbers should be located so that a user can easily find them.
