The most recent memorable purchase that I had done is not a product but a service. I booked a grand European holiday.

I selected a holiday after much analysis from Trafalgar tours for a 15 day European holiday covering Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy.

I when through various portals on identifying the best holiday that covered maximum places of interest an that was within my budget.

I shortlisted a few holidays from various service providers and went through the itinerary to select the best one which I liked the most and which was within my budget. I also wanted to select an established name in the tours and travel industry so my holiday would be planned smoothly.

I finally selected the 15 day European holiday from Trafalgar as it ticked of all the boxes on my list which was explained in the previous paragraph.

Once I select it, the process was smooth from travel arrangements to getting the requisite visas. The holiday was superb and I enjoyed the same

The steps for decision making:

1. Identifying my needs and with a well defined goal

2. Short listing the various types of holidays and tour operators.

3. Going through the itinerary and selecting the best option that satisfies both in covering most places and within budget

4. Making one more round to make sure you have not missed anything.

5. Going ahead and booking the holiday of your choice.
